Tasks
Tasks are the to-dos you share as a household — anything from "book the dentist" to "take out the bins." Here's how to add, complete and tidy them up.
Adding a task
- Tap the + button. Choose Task from the add sheet.
- Give it a title. A short, clear name works best.
- Fill in the details. Set any of the fields below, then save.
The task fields
- Title — what needs doing.
- Due date — when it's due. You can't pick a date in the past.
- Time — set it to the minute if timing matters.
- Priority — High shows a filled pink flag, Normal shows an outline flag, and Low shows none.
- Assigned to — choose who's responsible: you or your partner.
- Repeat — make it recurring if it happens regularly.
- Reminder — get a nudge before it's due.
Reminders need to be set. You'll only get a reminder for a task if you add one when creating or editing it.
Completing a task
Tap the circle next to a task to mark it done — you'll get a little celebration as it fills in. Completed tasks slide into your Completed section.
Recurring tasks
When you complete a recurring task, Divly automatically creates the next occurrence for you, carrying its details forward. There's nothing to set up again — it just reappears on its next due date.
Editing a task
Tap a task to open it, then update any field — title, date, time, priority, assignee, recurrence or reminder. As with adding, you can't move the due date into the past.
Archiving completed tasks
Once a task is done, you can archive it to clear it from your list and keep things tidy.
Your progress is always safe. Archiving a completed task hides it from view but never removes it from your records — it keeps counting toward your Divly Score and your streak. Archiving never affects your progress.
