Think about the last weekend you were fully present. Not mentally rehearsing Monday, not half-tracking what you forgot to schedule, not carrying a quiet list in the back of your head. Just there. That feeling is what Divly is built to give back.

We're a two-person founding team: an engineer and a product manager. At work, nothing we ship goes unowned. At home, the dentist appointment, the empty fridge and the weekend plan lived wherever they landed, which was usually one of our heads. It mostly worked, until it really didn't.

Then we brought home our first child. Waking every two hours for feedings, we couldn't remember if the dog had been fed. Things as small as brushing your teeth got lost in the fog of those first weeks. The system we didn't have stopped being a quirk and became the problem, and we learned the hard way that nobody can intentionally share what nobody can see. When the work of running a home is invisible, it gets divided by default instead of by design, and a newborn is the stress test that default fails.

We tried every app and ended up running several at once. Nothing showed us everything at a glance, so what actually needed doing got buried in one of many shared lists. Simple tasks couldn't just surface for the day, habits had no home at all, and lists stopped meaning anything when they had to hold everything. We needed all three, tasks, habits and lists, to be the best versions of ourselves, and no app gave our household all three.

So we built the app we kept looking for. Tasks that surface when they matter. Habits that keep the small daily things from slipping. Lists reserved for when a list actually makes sense. All in one view, with one rule we refuse to bend: nothing exists in Divly without an owner.

We run our own home on Divly every day. Every feature you see survived the hardest test we know: a real household, a real week, and two real people who would rather be living than managing.

The problem: the mental load

Running a home is a full-time job nobody signed up for. Noticing the fridge is empty. Remembering the school form. Anticipating that allergy season is coming and the prescription needs refilling. These tasks don't show up on anyone's calendar. They live in someone's head, and work that lives in a head can't be shared, only carried.

Productivity apps never solved this because they're built for individuals: your list, your reminders, your account. The household work stayed invisible, and the person who managed it stayed the manager.

Our answer

The result we care about is not more productivity. It's fewer dropped balls, a lighter head, and more evenings that feel like living together instead of managing together. A home that runs like a team, and two people with their weekends back.

Divly is sold per household with a 7-day free trial. That's the whole business model. We don't sell ads, and we don't sell your data. When you pay us, the incentives point one way: make your household run better.
